Simple Syrup

Simple Syrup is a must have in our kitchen on The Ranch this summer.   We use it to sweeten ice tea, lemonade and so many other bar drinks.   My hubby loves his tea without sweetener so I am able to make a pitcher of tea and just add simple syrup to my glass and it’s perfect.   No worries about the sugar not dissolving nor the ice melting due to over stirring.  He has the perfect glass of tea and so do I!
But don’t limit yourself on just tea, there are so many other uses for this easy mixture!
Flavor it with vanilla or cinnamon and brush it on layer cakes to keep them moist and to infuse flavor. Flavor it with citrus, peppers to give your cocktails a added boost.
Infuse it with mint, liqueur or extracts for added flavor to your summer beverages.   Or how about a lavender infusion!
See, the sky’s the limit with this very easy mixture and it is necessity in our kitchen all summer!

No home should be without Simple Syrup! I love that you and Lee both get to have your tea your way - WITHOUT having to make two separate pitchers which takes up too much space in the fridge! What a great idea!
