For years my friends and I have been obsessed with a cherry limeade from our local drive in. And last year when we visited Pioneer’s Woman’s Pizza place she had a grownup cherry limeade on her menu. It was amazing. And ever since I have wanted to recreate that cherry limeade vodka at home So we experimented and came up with our version of a spiked cherry limeade that I believe is almost as great as hers. Of course, I would never pretend to say I have her recipe for a grownup cherry limeade vodka, I absolutely don’t. But I believe this vodka cherry limeade recipe is about as good as it gets without traveling to Pawhuska Oklahoma.

We use cherry vodka in this recipe and of course we garnish it with those Moonshine infused cherries that Ree uses. And you should be able to buy them at most liquor stores but if you can’t then regular cherries would be fine along with a slice of fresh lime.
What’s in an Adult Cherry Limeade:
Ingredients
- Maraschino Cherries (preferable Moonshine Brand)
- Slice of lime
- 2-3 ounces of Cherry Vodka
- 1 Tbsp Grenadine Syrup
- 1 oz Sweetened Lime Juice
- Lemon Lime Soda
Equipment needed:
How to Make this Vodka Cherry Limeade for grownups:
- Fill a tall glass with ice and add a slice of lime and two or three Moonshine cherries.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add vodka, lime juice and grenadine.
- Cover with lid and shake for a count of ten seconds, remove lid, strain into your prepared glass and fill with the soda.
(If you do not have a shaker, mix the juice, syrup and vodka in the glass, then add the ice and garnishes and top with the soda and mix gently)

- 1 Slice Lime

Instructions
