Make sure the labels are removed from your cans then wash and dry them. Place on a paper plate or old newpaper to protect you working surface. Paint your cans white and allow to completely dry.

Use the blue masking tape to create stripes on one can leaving stripes of white showing through.

Place star stickers on the other can spacing them out in resemblance to the USA flag.

Paint the exposed area of the striped can red. Paint over the entire can with the star stickers with the blue paint

When the red paint on the painted can has dried completely, carefully remove the tape. Then when the blue paint can has dried completely, remove the star stickers very carefully.

Tie a bow around the top of each painted can with twine or jute

Fill each painted can with flowers and use to decorate your table for a pretty patriotic centerpiece.
