  • Heat the butter in a large stock pot over medium low heat. When the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows are completely melted.
  • Remove the pot from heat and immediately stir in the cereal. Continue stirring until all the cereal is coated in the melted marshmallows.
  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and spread the cereal mixture evenly in the pan. Press the cereal into the pan until it’s solid. Allow to cool for at least 2 hours.
  • When the rice Krispie treats are cool, cut them into 30 small squares and place on cooling rack. Melt the candy melts according to the package directions. Transfer the melted red and green candy to your piping bags and drizzle the red and green candy over the top of each square. Immediately top your holiday rice krispies with Christmas sprinkles.
  • Gently add a festive popsicle stick to each of these Christmas Rice Krispie squares. It makes them not only festive but maybe a little less messy.
