Add the ice cubes to your blender, then add white rum and the freshly squeezed lime juice.
Add hulled cut strawberries, sprinkle with white sugar. Note: The sugar can be adjusted according to your taste and 16 ounces of frozen strawberries can be used instead.
Blend on high until smooth and slushy but not long enough to liquefy.
Optional- Pour a couple of tablespoons of white sugar in a saucer. Then rub the rim of a Hurricane Glasswith lime, making sure the rim is wet. Dip the glass into the sugar creating a rim of sugar. Repeat with the remaining three glasses.
Pour 1/4 of the mixture into each of the 4 hurricane glasses. Serve these Strawberry Daiquiris garnished with lime slices and a colorful straw.
