Instructions

  • Start making your snowball fight game with white yarn and a pom pom maker
  • Open the arms of the Pom Pom maker completely
  • Wrap the yarn about 100 wraps around each side of the arm. But if you wish them fuller just add more wraps until the desired thickness is achieved. Then cut the yarn.
  • Snap the covered arm closed into the main body of the pom pom maker
  • Repeat with the other arm making sure both arms are secure
  • Using very sharp scissors, cut the yarn around the circumference of the pom pom maker.
  • Cut an 8-10 inch piece of yarn and tie it around the circumference, pulling very very tight and knotting several times.
  • Open up the maker and remove the completed pom pom.
  • Trim ends even with the pom pom. Repeat until you have enough snowballs for a great game of snowball fighting.
  • Fill a gift box or bag with pom pom snowballs and let the Snowball fight begin.

Notes

One large (7oz) skein of white yarn makes about 17 snowballs.
