- 2 pounds fresh green beans ends trimmed
- 1 pound Yukon Gold or Red Potatoes cut into chunks
- ¼ pound bacon cooked or raw (we use Bacon Bits)
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 32 ounces chicken broth
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Clean, trim and add green beans to a 7-8 quart crock pot. And add washed and chunked potatoes along with the bacon, diced onion, garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth, season with salt and pepper and gently stir or toss to combine.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low 6-7 hours.
Remove lid and adjust salt and black pepper to taste. Serve
