  • 2 pounds fresh green beans ends trimmed
  • 1 pound Yukon Gold or Red Potatoes cut into chunks
  • ¼ pound bacon cooked or raw (we use Bacon Bits)
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 32 ounces chicken broth
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Clean, trim and add green beans to a 7-8 quart crock pot. And add washed and chunked potatoes along with the bacon, diced onion, garlic.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, season with salt and pepper and gently stir or toss to combine.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low 6-7 hours.
  • Remove lid and adjust salt and black pepper to taste. Serve
