- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup Unsweetened cocoa
- ½ cup White chocolate chips
- ½ cup Chocolate chips

Instructions
- In a quart jar add 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour. Sprinkle in ½ teaspoon baking powder. Add ½ teaspoon baking soda. Finish with ¼ teaspoon salt.
- Pour in ¼ cup white sugar – let it settle on top for a pretty light band. Add ½ cup brown sugar, go slow so it sits right on top of the white sugar. Carefully spoon in ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder – creating that dramatic dark chocolate stripe.
- Tap the jar very lightly on a folded towel between layers if needed, but no shaking! You’ll end up with gorgeous, distinct bands of color that make the jar look professionally done.
- Pour in ½ cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips. Finish with ½ cup white chocolate chips on top. If your jar isn’t quite full to the rim (it sometimes happens depending on chip size), just toss in a few extra semi-sweet or white chips until it’s brimming and beautiful.
- Wipe the inside rim clean if needed, screw on the lid.
