Spring decorated oreos

Make cute spring Oreos with this simple white chocolate covered Oreos recipe.   These  Easter chocolate Oreos with sprinkles can either be made with almond bark or white chocolate for festive homemade decorated Oreos.

We are doing a simple treat today using store bought Oreos and white chocolate or almond bark to make these pretty little decorated Oreos.   This are not just Easter Chocolate Oreos but  you could change the color of the sprinkles and make these for Christmas, Halloween or just for an after school snack.

Have you seen those gorgeous decorated Oreos that they are selling?  They are almost too pretty to eat but it looks like you almost have to be an artist to make them.  An artist I am not so we cut a few corners and decided to make these colorful spring Oreos that are so easy  the little ones can make them. 

What you will need for this chocolate covered Oreos recipe:

  • 1 package of Oreos
  • 4 oz. white almond bark /or white chocolate candy melts
  • Colorful Spring sprinkles

 

How to Make these Easter Chocolate Oreos:

Heat the almond bark in the microwave for 30 second intervals until it is melted completely and smooth. If you are using the chocolate candy melts then they can be heated the same way.    Dip each Oreo halfway into the melted chocolate.

Sprinkle with the spring sprinkles before the chocolate dries.  Then place them on a baking sheet and allow to dry completely.

You could serve these Decorated Oreos on a tray or bowl for a festive party look.   Or they could be packaged for individually for pretty little Easter chocolate Oreos treats.
