  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  • Place four chicken strips on the foil-lined pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Once the chicken strips are cooked and ready, unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Cut each chicken strip in half crosswise, then place one halved strip at the wide end of each dough triangle, positioning it so you can easily roll it up.
  • Spoon a dollop of marinara sauce over each piece of chicken, spreading it lightly to cover the top. 
  • Top the marinara sauce with two slices (or pieces) of fresh mozzarella cheese, placing them side by side or slightly overlapping to cover most of the surface—this helps create that classic gooey, melty layer when baked.
  • Carefully roll the wide end of the crescent triangle with the chicken strip toward the point, wrapping it around the chicken
  •  Arrange the crescent rolls on a baking sheet and pop them into the preheated oven.
  •  Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the dough turns a beautiful golden brown.
  • Right after they come out, brush each roll generously with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder and a pinch of Italian seasoning
  •  Serve them hot with extra marinara for dipping,
