Ingredients

  • Champagne
  • Orange Juice
  • Grand Marnier

Instructions

  • Fill a chilled flute glass (or a juice glass) halfway with orange juice. (There are numerous different ratios of champagne to orange juice but the 50/50 mix is a great place to start.)
  • Add about 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier (if using).
  • Gently top off the glass with champagne to create a roughly 50/50 ratio of champagne to orange juice.
  • There are numerous different ratios of champagne to orange juice but the 50/50 mix is a great place to start.

Notes

  • Always pour the orange juice first, then the champagne. This helps preserve the bubbles.
  • Never stir the drink—stirring will cause it to lose its fizz quickly.
  • The 50/50 ratio is a classic starting point, but feel free to experiment with different proportions (e.g., more champagne for a lighter drink or more orange juice for a fruitier one) to suit your taste.
