No matter how many different cookies I make these chocolate chip pecan cookies are always the first to disappear. The grandkids love them and it’s such an easy classic chocolate chip cookie recipe, nothing fancy. So why are we trying to re-invent the wheel? Nope, not us, we just continue to make these as-is.
Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:
Chocolate Pecan Cookie Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter softened (2 sticks)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1-12oz pkg chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Equipment needed:
- Mixing Bowls
- Mixer
- Parchment Paper
- Cooking Sheets
- Cookie dough scoops

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. In a small mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt set it aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs and beat well.

- 1 cup pecans chopped
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt set aside
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Gradually add flour mixture, beat until well combined
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans
