Blue Cosmopolitan Cocktail

December 17, 2017 by Evelyn 7 Comments

This Blue Cosmopolitan Cocktail is just delicious and will brighten any day. Whether it’s in the dead of winter or a summer day, it’s sure to bring out the smiles.    This variation on a cosmo cocktail with the gorgeous blue color gives a little class to any cocktail party.  We decided to have a fun twist to this blue Curacao and add a huge ice ball.

The large ice ball gives the Blue Cosmopolitan a twist of fanciful.  I know cosmos are not normally served over ice but sometimes it is fun to go against the norm.   You know we believe in no set rules around here.

These Blue Cosmos add a special flair for a girls day in or for Christmas, New Years or to add a twist to a weekend cocktail party.   There is something about a cosmo that is sexy and elegant and we love to add this cocktail to make any night extra special.

To make a Blue Cosmo, we need a cocktail shaker with strainer, and Huge Ice ball maker, and cosmopolitan glasses or do like we did and use a margarita glass.
PS: I also found this over-the-top cosmopolitan travel box aka booze box on Amazon for the serious cosmo makers

The drink looks so yummy! Hubby would love those ice cubes. He hates watered down pop.

Very cool…no pun intended. My thanksgiving company is gone, dishes are done. I could sit down with one of these cocktails right about now!
