butter pecan cookie recipe

These buttery pecan cookies are always a hit at our house and we don’t wait till Christmas time to make them.  And we consider them southern pecan cookies or Texas pecan cookies.  Not sure why but both names is what we grew up calling them.   Maybe because southerners and Texans use an abundance of pecans in so many different ways.
