We know that soap and water is best for cleaning your hands but sometimes it not always an easy option.   So we really need to have a waterless hand sanitizer with us at all times.    This aloe vera gel, alcohol, lavender oil and tree oil hand sanitizer is one of our favorite easy recipes.  We have heard of certain waterless hand sanitizers being removed from shelves because of questionable ingredients. So that makes it even more important to know what all our products contain.

And since everyone is carrying hand sanitizer these days we thought they might make awesome gifts.  So we are making mini hand sanitizer favors to give to teachers, neighbors, friends and family today.

Whats in a waterless hand sanitizer:

  • ¼ cup 90% alcohol
  • 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops tea tree essential oil
  • Small jar
  • Hand Sanitizer Gift Tags

Add the aloe vera gel and then the alcohol and both essential oils into a small bowl.  Use a small whisk and whisk everything together until they are very well combined.

Print out the printable gift tag and cut out around outer edge. Attach gift tag to the top of the jar using glue.  You could add these waterless hand sanitizer favors to gift baskets or give as gifts to teachers, neighbors and friends.

Note: You could also replace the 90% alcohol with Everclear Liquor that is 151 or 190 proof
