These Banana split parfait pudding cups are made with layers of goodness.  Banana pudding, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, bananas, nuts and sprinkles make this an amazing banana split dessert that we know you will love.

A banana split is a classic treat from our childhood and we usually visit the local drive-in to enjoy them.  So we decided to come up with a banana split pudding dessert that can be made at home.  We replaced the ice cream with pudding but added all those flavors that we love.

We topped our banana split dessert with whipped topping, chocolate and added the iconic cherry on top.    All kids whether they are young or old would love these special little treats. 

 

What is in this banana split parfait

Makes 3 pudding cups

Ingredients

  • 1 package 3.4 oz box banana pudding mix  (plus ingredients to make pudding)
  • 1/3 cup chopped peanuts
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • Toppings:
  • Whipped cream
  • Chopped peanuts
  • Sprinkles
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Cherries

Special Equipment needed:

  • Plastic Pudding Cups

 

How to assemble a pudding parfait:

Start your banana split parfaits by make the banana pudding according to the package instructions.

Place a layer of chopped peanuts on the bottom of each cup

Divide the banana pudding into half.   Use one half to divide into each cup making a layer on top of the nuts. Save the other half for another layer.

Add 1/2 of the sliced bananas dividing equally into each cup.  Save the other half for another layer.

Add the remaining layer of pudding and the sliced bananas.  Top each banana split parfait with whipped cream.

Add additional chopped peanuts,  the sprinkles and the chocolate syrup on top of each of your parfait cups

Finish each banana pudding cup with a red cherry on top.    Then serve immediately and enjoy all the fresh taste of your local dairy drive in with these.
