They are such a fun edible and delicious snack to enjoy this season. And you don’t have to be a great artist to make these. And by using a tube of frosting with a sharp tip, it’s easy to draw the little buckles.
How to Make Pilgrim Hat Cookies:
You only need three ingredients to make these easy peasy treats
Spread a sheet of wax paper onto you work surface. Unwrap a candy cup and squeeze a small amount of frosting on the top of it to act as glue. Invert the candy cup onto the chocolate side of the cookie over the center hole. And pipe a ring around it for your hat band. Then use the frosting to draw a square buckle on one side of each of these Pilgrim Hat Cookies

Pilgrim hat cookies made from candy and cookies
Ingredients
- 1 package fudge striped cookies
- 1 bag of miniature peanut butter cups
- 1 tube white frosting
Instructions
- Spread a sheet of wax paper on the work surface
- Unwrap the peanut butter cups and squeeze a small amount of frosting on the peanut butter cup to act as a glue.
- Invert the cup on the chocolate side of the cookie over the center hole.
- Pipe a ring around the peanut butter cup for your hat band and then draw a square buckle on the side.
