Pilgrim Hat Cookies

These Pilgrim Hat Cookies make these cute Thanksgiving treats for kids. These hat cookies are made with chocolate candy and cookies we bought from the store.  And you can use icing to make the cookies hat decoration.

These are little pilgrim hats made from store-bought cookies and candy.  And we have seen these cute cookies made in so many different ways but this is our absolute favorite.   You know that holidays are made special with the addition of food, decorations, and crafts.   And these little pilgrim hats fit all three categories for you.   Because they are a fun edible craft and a great Thanksgiving treats for kids,   And they just might help keep those little hands busy while you are preparing for Thanksgiving dinner.

We believe the kids would love to make these Pilgrim Hat cookies.  And it doesn’t take an artist to make to decorated these super easy hat cookies.   They are such a fun edible and delicious snack to enjoy this season.  And you don’t have to be a great artist to make these.    And by using a tube of frosting with a sharp tip, it’s easy to draw the little buckles.  

How to Make Pilgrim Hat Cookies: 

You only need three ingredients to make these easy peasy treats

Spread a sheet of wax paper onto you work surface.  Unwrap a candy cup and squeeze a small amount of frosting on the top of it to act as glue.   Invert the candy cup onto the chocolate side of the cookie over the center hole.  And pipe a ring around it for your hat band.  Then use the frosting to draw a square buckle on one side of each of these Pilgrim Hat Cookies
