Sangria

January 27, 2014 by Evelyn 20 Comments

I remember when I lived in Pecos Texas, a couple of my friends and I would meet for lunch at one of the best Mexican food restaurants in that part of the country. The first one there would order the pitcher of sangria and we would enjoy the best 2-3 hour luncheon party ever. I do miss those times and think of them ever time I make this light fruity beverage!
Sangria is usually a rich wine mixed with citrus juices but this Sangria recipe is taken a step further and also contains brandy.
Perfect with any of your lovely Mexican dishes!
Or with any of your dishes!!   Yay! With All dishes!

  • 1 lemon sliced

3. Garnish with additional lime or lemon slices.
+Tip: Add club soda as close as possible to serving time for loads of fizz.
