We use our crockpot all the time but we need and are always looking for more slow cooker breakfast recipes.  It’s nice to awake and find a hot breakfast ready to serve.  This Overnight crockpot breakfast is one of our favorite slow cooker breakfast recipes. It’s an overnight slow cooker breakfast with sausage, bacon or ham and hash browns, eggs, and cheese.

This overnight crockpot breakfast is layered in a large crockpot.  It cooks overnight and is ready bright and early the next morning.  Just add biscuits or toast and a side of fruit for an easy but delicious breakfast.   And clean up is so easy with this breakfast recipe since it only takes one pot.  And we are sure you will be happy to add this overnight crockpot breakfast to your slow cooker breakfast recipes today or to enjoy it as a crockpot Christmas breakfast. 

 

Overnight Slow Cooker Breakfast Recipe:

Overnight slow cooker breakfast Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • salt 
  • black pepper
  • 1 32 oz bag of shredded frozen hash browns
  • 1 pound bacon, sausage or ham cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup of white chopped white onions
  • 3/4 pound grated cheddar cheese 

 

 

How to make this overnight crockpot breakfast:

 

 

Whip the eggs, milk dry mustard and salt and pepper together in a large mixing bowl.  Set aside.

Spray a 3-quart crockpot or slow cooker with a cooking spray and then layer 1/2 of the bag of frozen hash browns on the bottom.

Then add layers of  1/2 of the meat, 1/2 of the onion, 1/2 of the cheese and 1/2 of the egg mixture on top of the hash browns

Repeat layering the hash brown potatoes, bacon, and onion

 Top with the remaining cheddar cheese, and equally pour the rest of the egg mixture over the breakfast casserole. Cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours
