Fall Sangria from The Pink Recipe Box

Sponsored by a "A Year of Cocktails" but all opinions are 100% my own

I love to entertain but I don't have to have guests over to plan an extra special meal.  I love to celebrate with just the two of us.   You know, setting the table, using cloth napkins and of course an out of the ordinary beverage.
If I work hard at preparing a special meal then I want the perfect beverage to accompany it. Of course, sometimes an extra special beverage even brings those leftovers to a higher level.
Anyway it's fun to have a themed by season beverage to make any day of the year extra special.
And I am happy to announce my buddy Nicola over at The Pink Recipe box has made my life easier in planning those beverages.   She has wrote the sweetest
ebook and has organized a list of season inspired beverages.  52 of them to be exact!   A new beverage for every week of the year!
I just received my copy and I am looking forward to trying all these in the coming year!!

She has included everything you need for each recipe:
-A color photo for a gorgeous serving suggestion
-The number of servings
-The time required
-And any special equipment if required

All for a special little bity price of $4.49

If you would like to go all out for the coming winter holidays with a "Winter Snowflake Cocktail or if you would like to serve your guests a "Sparkling Elderflower Punch" (or any of 12 other guest approved beverages)
Have fun on St. Paddy's Day with a  "Drunken Leprechaun Milkshake" or a "Limoncello Beergarita" (plus 12 other spring beverages to choose from)
Enjoy your summer with a "Cuban Beach" or a "Boozy Caramel S'mores Frappuccino" (17 choices of cooling beverages)
Last but not last enjoy these Fall temperatures with 8 other great recipes such as a "Black Widow
or this "Fall Sangria
(Nicola gave me the thumbs up to share a sneak preview with this Fall Sangria recipe)
I can just smell Fall in the air as I am sipping this Fall Sangria!

All this in this gorgeous ebook for just under $3

Fall Sangria
 from The Pink Recipe Box
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/2 apple
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 bottle red wine (I recommend Marques de Caceres Crianza Red Wine)
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice / pumpkin spice (mixture of ground cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice)
  • 1 1/2oz / 3 tablespoons triple sec
  • 1oz / 2 tablespoons cranberry liqueur
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
1. Roughly chop the orange and apple into small chunks and place into the bottom of a large jug.
2. Sprinkle over the sugar and bash it with a long-handed spoon, until most of the sugar has dissolved.
3. Stir in the other ingredients and leave in the fridge for at least 50 minutes for the flavors to infuse before serving.
