September 24, 2019 by Evelyn 4 Comments

Make this Oogie Boogie Cocktail Copy Cat recipe from Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash.  It’s a Nightmare Before Christmas themed cocktail that Disney calls,  Worms, Dice, and Everything Nice.     Enjoy some  Halloween fun with this creepy but yummy DIY Disney Drink recipe.

Oogie Boogie Bash, Oogie Boogie Cocktail Recipe

This is a Copy Cat DIY Disney Drink recipe to kick off the Halloween Season.  This Oogie Boogie Cocktail is easy to make, fun and festive and the Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash was our inspiration.   Also, we will include some non-alcoholic substitutions so your kiddos can enjoy their own version.

Worms, Dice and Everything Nice

Today my daughter Kristi is here with this amazing cocktail recipe.  She and her family are avid Disney fans and they enjoy so many of Disney’s seasonal special parties.   So we decided she is the expert to bring you this fun Oogie Boogie Cocktail recipe from Nightmare Before Christmas that she has recreated from Disney’s Worms, Dice and Everything Nice cocktail.

Evelyn (I call her Mom) will tell you that our family is a Disney Family. We are lucky enough to live near the parks and while we love going all year long, we especially enjoy seasonal celebrations in the park. They go all out from themed decorations and characters, to ride overlays and shows and in the past few years, they have even extended their theming to seasonal foods and drinks. Going to the parks during the holidays now is as much about trying the seasonal food and drinks as it is about seeing the holiday decorations and experiencing the rides and shows themed to the season.

Halloween has arrived in the Disney parks and we recently attended their newest Halloween themed party, the Oogie Boogie Bash. It was a blast and among the many treats and delights we discovered was a Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie Boogie themed cocktail called Worms, Dice and Everything Nice. It was so perfectly themed to the Halloween party and this time of year.

And the adults toasted the season with this spooky fruity Halloween cocktail.  It was an amazing way to kick off the evening at the Oogie Boogie Bash.

Disney food is so iconic that you can find recipes all over the web to DIY all sorts of the most loved foods from the parks. I really wanted to recreate this drink at home and share it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

How to make this Copycat Worms, Dice, and Everything Nice Cocktail:

Scroll to the bottom for the Printable Recipe

Ingredients needed for our Worms, Dice, and Everything Nice Cocktail (copycat)

  • 1 ½ cups Limeade (I made a pitcher of limeade from concentrate)
  • ½ cup Midori liqueur
  • ¼ cup Vodka
  • 3 cups Ice for Blended drink
  • Large box of Red Jell-O (I like cherry for this drink)
  • Gummy worms
  • Glowing Ice Cubes
  • Silicone Ice Cube Tray for Dice Shapes

To make this Oogie Boogie Cocktail:

Mix up the Jello according to the package directions and pour into a silicone mold shaped like large dice.  Place in the fridge and let it cool for a couple of hours.

Mix the Limeade concentrate according to the package directions in a large pitcher.   Measure out the one and one-half cups limeade into a blender.

To continue your DIY Disney Drink recipe, measure out and add the Midori, vodka, and ice in your blender.

Blend all Oogie Boogie Cocktail ingredients together until it becomes a slush.  Do not over blend.

Pour it into a clear cup for the most ideal presentation and then garnish the drink with a glowing ice cube, gummy worms, and red Jell-o dice.

Non-Alcoholic Worms, Dice, and Everything Nice copycat drink

As promised we also have a No-Alcoholic version for the kids.

Ingredients needed for
  • 1 cup limeade
  • 2 Tablespoons of Pineapple juice
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Grenadine
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • Large box of Red Jell-O (I like cherry for this drink)
  • Gummy worms
  • Glowing Ice Cubes
  •  Dice Shapes Silicone Ice Cube Tray
Follow the steps above for making the jello dice. Then blend the first four ingredients and garnish with the glowing ice cubes, the dice, and gummy worms.     It’s a yellowish-orange color, but delicious and non-alcoholic for the kiddos.

And speaking of kids we would love for you to enjoy following our kids Kimmi and Kaycee as they go on many amazing adventures. They are on a journey that takes them to many different theme parks, special events, and openings. Most importantly, this channel is about FUN! Join them on their saga and experience the days of true adventure on their Youtube Channel
