Religious Easter Wreath with lilies and a jute cross

Easter will soon be here and if you are like us, you love sharing the true meaning of Easter.  Sometimes a Christian Easter Wreath is hard to find in the stores.  So we decided to make it ourselves using all the gorgeous flowers that remind us of spring and a new beginning.

And this jute wrapped cross is easy to make and reminds us of the miracle of Easter.  Also we kept the wreath simple and elegant by using a 14″ steel ring from Hobby Lobby.   And we are glad we did, because I love the clean look of this Easter wreath with a cross and spring flowers.

Now cut off the excess zip tie ends and the Lavender stems with the wire cutter.  Cover the black zip ties with green floral tape.

Snip apart the lily floral picks into 9  individual flowers.   Then bunch 3 lilies together, staggering them one above each other and wrap the stems with floral tape to hold them together and in place.  Repeat with the other lilies afterwards  you should have 3 bunches of 3 lilies that are staggered in a line.

Zip Tie Lilies to our Christian Wreath

Zip tie your lily bunches to the metal ring. You need to place the bottom bunch facing downward so the Lily petals cover the stems of the bottom Lavender.   And the top one facing upwards to  cover the top lavender sprigs.
