Air Fryer Biscuit Apple Pies Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 8-count package biscuit dough
- 21 ounce can apple pie filling
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
Equipment Needed:
- Rolling Pin
- Pastry Mat
🥣 Recipe Tips
- Ensure a Tight Seal: When folding the biscuit dough over the apple pie filling, press firmly with a fork to seal the edges completely. This prevents the filling from leaking during air frying, ensuring a neat turnover and even cooking.
- Don’t Overfill the Biscuits: Use a small amount of apple pie filling (about 1-2 tablespoons per biscuit) to avoid overstuffing, which can cause the dough to burst or not cook evenly. Chop the filling’s apple pieces smaller for easier filling and a better bite.
- Adjust Air Fryer Timing: Air fryer models vary, so check the pies around the 8-minute mark to avoid over-browning. If not golden yet, continue cooking in 1-2 minute increments, and ensure the basket isn’t overcrowded for proper air circulation.
How to make Apple Turnovers in Air Fryer:

Separate each piece of biscuit dough and use a rolling pin to roll out each biscuit until it’s flattened into a round circle

Spoon a small amount of apple pie filling on one half of the biscuit, leaving the edges of the dough clean.

Fold the other half of the biscuit dough over the top of the filling and use a fork to seal the seam.

Brush both sides of each pie with melted butter and place it on the air fryer tray or basket. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Place the apple pie in the air fryer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until the outside is golden brown and the center is cooked through.

Add the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix until well combined.

Allow the air fryer biscuit apple pies to cool for about five minutes. Then brush both sides with butter and sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon mixture over both sides of the pies.

Serve warm or you could allow the sugar sprinkled apple pies from the air fryer to cool completely before serving.
This recipe needs just a few ingredients and zero fuss. A sweet treat for breakfast or an afternoon snack, without all the fuss!
