I am sure my kids would all agree on the extent that I love holidays.   I have always said it’s special only if you make it special otherwise it’s just another day.   So I look forward to a new holiday each month, pulling out all my little decorations and placing them here and there.  But each holiday, I always wish to do just one more thing, one more decoration or one more craft.  (Please don’t ask my kids about the infamous yearly “Christmas Crafts”, Oh NO we will not go there with that bunch)

One of my friends shared a cute craft idea for a pumpkin face from a straw paper plate holder on Facebook.   And I jumped at this easy idea.  I would make it into a Witch Face Decoration and it would be this year’s Halloween Craft.

This Witch Face was make using just a few inexpensive items which you may have around the house but if not please see our Halloween Pumpkin Witch Face supply list below.

How to Make a Dollar tree Halloween Wreath Pumpkin Witch:

This Halloween Witch Face Decoration is made from dollar tree Halloween items and can be placed on a wreath for a cute Halloween door decor.  This Pumpkin Witch Face could also be used by itself for an inexpensive Halloween decoration.

Halloween Yard Ideas

 Pumpkin Witch Supplies:

  • Paper Plate Holders
  • Orange Spray Paint
  • Fat Sharpie Marker
  • Witch Hat
  • A spray of Fall Leaves

Place your straw plates on newspaper or cover and spray both sides of the straw plate holders with orange paint.   Then after it’s dry use either a sharpie or craft paint to draw the pumpkin witch eyes, nose, and mouth.

Attach the witch hats to the plates with a needle and thread, just tacking here and there to hold it on a cocky angle.   Add either spray of bright fall leaves or fall flowers to the back of the hat.     We attached our pumpkin witch to the barb wire wreaths that hang permanently on the front gates.   But you could also use a Dollar tree Halloween wreath form or a grapevine wreath.  These Pumpkin witches could also be hung by themselves Halloween Yard Ideas.

Have a safe and fun Halloween and if you make one of our  Pumpkin Face Witch Hat decorations, please let us know.
