Santa Hat Cinnamon Rolls

 Don’t you just love these easy Santa hat cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning.   These easy Santa hat breakfast rolls are made from store bought dough and decorated like Santa Hats.

Put a fun spin on store bought cinnamon rolls by turning them into Christmas themed breakfast treats.  These Santa hat cinnamon rolls are bright, festive and super easy to make.

Christmas Santa Hat Cinnamon Rolls

 

These Santa hat breakfast rolls are so easy that your kiddos can make them.  It’s a delicious edible Christmas craft that adults and children will enjoy.    Yes we did cheat a little and used store bought dough and candy melts but sometimes you just need a quick and easy treat.  What fun! 

 

Santa Hat Cinnamon Rolls Recipe:

Ingredients:

 

Equipment needed:

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave safe bowl (to melt candy melts)

 

How to make these Santa Hat Cinnamon Rolls:

Preheat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.   Separate a cinnamon roll and unroll the strip of dough.

Wrap the dough strips back and forth into a triangle shape and place them on the lined baking sheet.  Repeat with the other cinnamon rolls.   Place in preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Allow the rolls to cool completely, then melt the candy melts according to the package instructions.  (We melted ours in the microwave using these directions)  Pipe or spread the red melted chocolate over the top of the cinnamon rolls.

Decorate the bottom of the Santa hat with a line of mini marshmallows.  And place one mini marshmallow on the top of the triangle.

Allow the chocolate to cool and harden before serving.   Then enjoy these for a special treat!
