We all love snacks but sometimes snacks just don't love us. Ok, they do love us but they seem to love us by settling on the tummy, hips and thighs.
This is a satisfying snack that is healthy and sure to control those cravings. By keeping the ration of nuts higher than the dried fruits, it is even healthier.
Healthier Trail Mix
1 cup of unsalted almonds
1 cup of unsalted pumpkin seeds
1 cup of unsalted sunflower seeds
1 cup of chopped dried apricots, chopped
1 cup of dried cranberries (Craisins)
Mix all together and separate into 1/4 cup servings in little snack bags.
Makes about 20 servings and each 1/4 cup serving is
I always keep healthier snacks very handy so that we can grab them in a pinch!
