Reindeer Chow

Snacking is my favorite way to eat especially around Christmas.  I could live on snacks and appetizers during this season and there are so many different treats to choose from.
This Reindeer Chow is a fun snack mix and has the perfect blend of sweet and salty, it's  also fun for the little ones to leave out for Santa's Reindeer.  We all leave Santa plenty of cookies and milk but what about all those reindeers, they need loads of energy to pull that overloaded sleigh.
This is a fun tradition here at the Ranch, feeding Santa's Reindeer!

Reindeer Chow

Ingredients
  • 3 cups of Chex cereal
  • 3 cups of Cheerios
  • 3 cups of pecans or peanuts
  • 3 cups of plain red and green M&M's
  • 3 cups of pretzel sticks
  • 1- 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper
2. Add the first five ingredients in a large bowl and blend well but gently to not break up the cereals
3. Place chocolate chips in a microwave save bowl and microwave on 50 % power for 1-2 minutes stirring often.
4. Pour the chocolate over the cereal blend and stir gently but quickly to throughly coat the mixture with the chocolate
5. Spread evenly on the wax paper and let cool
6. After the mixture is cool it can be stored in a air tight container
