How to make Easy Christmas Chex Mix

This Christmas Chex Mix is one of my favorite ways to snack around Christmas.   It's easily made with some of our favorites like M&M's, pecans, pretzels, cereals and it's coated with white chocolate.

We could live on snacks and appetizers during this season and the choices are endless.

Are you like that, you just want a festive fun snack while watching Christmas moves or playing games with the family?

We call this Christmas Chex Mix, Reindeer Chow and it has the perfect blend of sweet and salty, it's also fun for the little ones to leave out for Santa's Reindeer.

We have always left Santa plenty of cookies and milk but what about all those reindeer,  they need loads of energy to pull that overloaded sleigh don't they?

This is a fun tradition here at the Ranch, feeding Santa's Reindeer and Santa's helpers like us.

Christmas Chex Mix

  • 3 cups of Chex cereal
  • 3 cups of Cheerios
  • 3 cups of pecans or peanuts
  • 3 cups of plain red and green M&M's
  • 3 cups of pretzel sticks
  • 1- 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips
1. Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper
2. Add the first five ingredients in a large bowl and gently mix well
3. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave at 50 % power for 1-2  minutes stirring often or use a candy melting pot.
4. Pour the chocolate over the cereal blend and stir gently but quickly to thoroughly coat the mixture with the chocolate
5. Spread evenly on the wax paper and let cool
6. After the mixture is cool it can be stored in an airtight container
