We were craving good old-fashioned Spaghetti and Meatballs the other day but we didn’t wish to lose any ground on our healthy journey. So we tweaked a few recipes and came up with baked turkey meatballs and whole grain fettuccine. And we believe this is the best turkey meatball recipe and we would rather have them than any other.
We used a meatball maker to have gorgeous meatballs and we baked them which made everything so easy. We also used baking mats to make clean up easier and our meatballs did not stick. One of the simplest solutions to help stay on a healthy eating plan to make food preparation as easy as possible. Using a canned pasta sauce and a healthier pasta makes this dish quick. We spend the extra time making our homemade meatballs which make all the difference in the world.

These are the Best Turkey Meatballs, filled with fresh herbs and with less fat than their beef counterpart. And since it’s served with a whole grain pasta there is no guilt involved so you can enjoy a great Italian meal and still stay on your goal plan.

Hmmmm yum yum 🙂
Evelyn — I often find when I make things with ground turkey — such as meatloaf or hamburgers — that they seem very dry compared to beef. Any suggestions for me?
Lean ground Turkey can be dryer than ground beef, I always add extra low calorie flavor such as fresh herbs and freshly crushed garlic and chopped onions. This add moisture instead of the fat that makes ground beef moist:)
