Strawberry Banana Trifle Dessert

We are always looking for easy desserts, you know something that can be whipped up easy but will impress your guests or your family.

This Strawberry Banana Trifle Dessert recipe satisfies our desire for a delicious dessert but we didn't spend time baking and heating up the oven.

This Trifle recipe uses a store-bought cake and pudding mix making it easy and quick but still very impressive.

This strawberry Banana Trifle Dessert looks amazing displayed in a glass Trifle Bowl.

This Strawberry Banana Trifle recipe is our family's all-time favorite dessert.  It's very rich and loaded with fresh bananas and fresh strawberries and will truly impress your family and guests.

Strawberry Banana Dessert

  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 pk (4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups of whipping cream
  • 1 pint of strawberries, sliced
  • 2 bananas sliced and dipped in lemon juice to prevent browning
  • 1 loaf pound cake, frozen 16 oz size
Instructions
1. Pour whipping cream into a cold bowl and beat with mixer until stiffly whipped, place in the fridge.
2. Combine milk and water, add the pudding mix and beat well in a large bowl, place in fridge to chill for 5 minutes
3. Gently fold in whipped cream and all the fruit, reserving a few pieces of banana and strawberry to decorate the top
4. Slice the pound cake into 1-inch slices. Line your trifle dish or any clear bowl with the cake slices and spoon in the pudding mix
5. Cover and chill until ready to serve
6. Just before serving garnish with the extra strawberries and bananas.
