Strawberry Banana Dessert

This is our family's all time favorite dessert!
It's made with a store bought pound cake and pudding mix but its fancy enough for any dinner party.  It's very rich and loaded with fresh bananas and

Strawberry Banana Dessert
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 pk (4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups of whipping cream
  • 1 pint of strawberries, sliced
  • 2 bananas sliced and dipped in lemon juice to prevent browning
  • 1 loaf pound cake, frozen 16 oz size
1. Pour whipping cream into a cold bowl and beat with mixer until stiffly whipped, place in fridge.
2. Combine milk and water, add the pudding mix and beat well in a large bowl, place in fridge to chill for 5 minutes
3. Gently fold in whipped cream and all the fruit, reserving a few pieces of banana and strawberry to decorate the top
4. Slice the pound cake into 1 inch slices. Line your trifle dish or any clear bowl with the cake slices and spoon in the pudding mix
5. Cover and chill until ready to serve
6. Just before serving garnish with the extra strawberries and bananas.
