Mummy Pizza Pockets Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 2 packages crescent roll dough sheets
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 24 pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 slices black olives
Equipment Needed:
- Baking Sheet
- Parchment Paper
- Pizza Cutter (or a sharp knife)
🥣 Recipe Tips
- Seal the Dough Strips Securely: When arranging the crescent dough strips to create the “mummy” look, press the ends firmly into the sides of the base rectangle to ensure they stay in place during baking, preventing the filling from leaking out.
- Customize Fillings Carefully: While the recipe suggests pepperoni, you can use other toppings like Canadian bacon or veggies. Keep the filling light and evenly distributed to avoid overstuffing, which can make sealing the pockets difficult.
- Monitor Baking Time for Golden Perfection: Bake the pockets for 12-15 minutes at 375°F, checking for a golden-brown color. If the dough browns too quickly, tent with foil to prevent burning while ensuring the interior is fully cooked.
